The biggest game of the year for HBCU Football is the Black College Football National Championship. The Celebration Bowl in Atlanta. Last year, FAMU loss to Jackson State in the beginning of the year held them out the big game. Moreover, FAMU decided to got to the FCS playoffs instead.
Well, we’re only a two weeks away from their matchup against Howard. Some are calling this game the battle of the most prestigious HBCUs in the country. FAMU and Howard are known around the world for the great individuals they have produced on the field but also off the field.
Needless to say, the MEAC champion is coming into this game as big under dogs. FAMU has operated an offense that is explosive and very balanced
Jeremy Moussa has been a great leader for the FAMU Rattlers under center. The 5th year senior transferred into FAMU in 2022, and has been consistent ever since he came on campus. Since his arrival, FAMU has been a top-3 HBCU football team.
Under head coach Willie Simmons, the Rattlers will have their 4th straight 9-win season and their first 10+ win season.
Against Prairie View A&M, FAMU looked dominant from start to finish. It is also interesting to note that even with the weather delay and stoppages, nothing could stop the Rattlers from reaching the Celebration Bowl.
