Madden 24: NFL Players Are Shocked By Their Ratings

Around this time every year, the biggest football video game releases its rating for the players to start the year. Although the rating can change during the year, the players are stunned at how low they are.

Players around the league saw their ratings and were stunned to see some of the best rated below 90. Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers was given an 86 overall rating. Even Jalen Hurts sat right outside the 90s ratings mark.

One of the most surprising ratings for a starting NFL quarterback was New York Giants’ Daniel Jones. Madden had Jones at 75 overall. That was 1 point above the #1 overall pick Bryce Young.

Remember, Jones just signed a new contract with the Giants. Maybe Madden knows that the Giants made a huge mistake.

99 Overall Crew

Although there was shock, there were a few players whose Madden rating was just how they like it. Chiefs’ quarterback Patrick Mahomes stood tall with a 99 overall rating. Vikings’ Justin Jefferson also took a 99 overall rating to the bank.

Cowboys’ Zach Martin, Rams’ Aaron Donald, and Chiefs’ Travis Kelce joined Mahomes and Jefferson as the best players in the game overall.

Again, Madden has been known to adjust the ratings as the season goes along. However, the ratings are just added motivation to those who felt like they were slighted in anyway.
